About

I am a graduate student at Indiana Unviersity working on my PhD in higher education policy studies. I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree from IU’s School of Public & Environmental Affairs where I studied policy analysis and public finance. In a nutshell, my research interests focus on the relationship between public policies, education, and social justice – or “who gets what as a result of policy decisions?” College affordability turns out to be a research area that is a prime place to ask those kinds of questions, particularly as they relate to financial aid policy and postsecondary finance. That’s what this blog (and my dissertation) is all about…college affordability, public policy, public finance, and social justice.

But enough about that. I’m also a newlywed, self-proclaimed athlete, coffee shop enthusiast, wanna-be pianist, amatuer dog whisperer, little brother, green thumb in training, and bike-riding fool.

You forgot the adjective on little brother, wonderful…or use your thesaurus for a synonym. They all fit.
